Yoda kicks serious ass but fails to kill Palpatine. Must be a height thing.
Great film, but perhaps still too reliant of effects. The original 3 films were dark and well scripted, and still the best.
Yeah excellent movie i think it was a lot better than 1 & 2 although i liked 1 & 2 but still i think the first 3 movies he did backing the 70's and 80's are still the best also i think time has aided that fact and being a kid when i first watched them helped.
I havent seen this 1 yet but its on my list of things to do
You really should go see it Oldun, especially if you've seen the other two in this trilogy. Althought you kinda know what's going to happen, you don't quite know how, and it's actually quite good.
As Nic says, some of the best light saber battles since Return Of The Jedi, but I felt the Emporer was very laboured and contrived. He was the only real bad bit about the film for me (that and the hilariously bad "NoooOOOoooo" scene)

Yeah, very much agree with the "know what'll happen bit" sounds stupid, but it's true and kinda spoils it a bit.

i like lightsabers,though whenever i battle with my brother i'm like darth vader to a teddy bear and anakin to the old chap with the curved lightsaber (count dooku)
