Yep thats right WageR are back in the studio...

Today we layed down the drums and bass to three tracks for our forthcoming debut single release towards the end of 2007. The Single will be our first atempt to enter the UK mainstreem charts.

The three tracks are:

She's Going Nowhere,
House That Jack Built,
Turn It Around,
There will also be a limited edition disk with a bonus song.

With nic's Prelude in G Minor intro, I mean. Coz it's just qualiteeeee

Yeah we will be re-recording it also we have yet to discus wether we will be using it on our Single release.

Thankyou JayeD for your nice comment about TIR intro. I am unsure as to keep the entire piece seperate from Turn it Around and remove it from the Wager connection altogether. I am tempted to write a brand new intro because it has changed many times when I play it live, and I fancy doing something a bit more powerful and intricate.

I keep threatening to record a solo piano album - I have enough pieces written to fill an album already and I may want to keep my original Prelude purely for this project.

But I dont yet know for sure - I am recording tomorrow with Alan so I will discuss it with him, but a shorter - more sexy - intro may be the result of re-recording Turn it Around. But again I am delighted that you like the piece.

It was great fun to be recording again last night.

Did all 4 tracks in one night and the recording went really well. The solo's to "House that jack built" & "Shes going nowhere" turned out brilliantly.

Really enjoyed myself - getting together with Alan again in the studio was great fun and long overdue.

Alan is a great engineer and as a fellow keyboard player he always brings out the best in my playing when we record together.
