I personally am looking forward to Sat at the seaside. We have had a week off and although it was nice to have a break I really missed gigging.
I think that Sandy and myself are going to spend the day in Weston Super Mare ( how exciting I hear you cry Big Grin ) and then travel to the gig later.
Lets hope we have good weather and a full turnout.

Rock on guysCool

I have asked Alan to collect Match on the day because I will want to leg it down there as late as possible, but I would want to take Match back home after the gig - just so I have a co-driver and someone to chat to on the way home to keep me awake. I am sure Match will approve!

Do you realise?........this world is totally FUGAZI.

That works out well Nic. We would have travelled down with you but we bought a new DVD cabinet off E Bay and guess where it is? Weston! So my car will be fairly full on way home. I have Sandy to keep me awake...NOT! I know she'll sleep like a baby all the way home lol

Thanks Nick I do appreciate that having no transport does cause some problem's. It is a shame that this booking wasn't made and confirmed in January/February as with that much notice I would have willingly hired a car and booked a caravan for a night or two. but as long as someone gives me a lift there and back I'm not really bothered how things work out and I do appreciate that there might be some gig's where this isn't possible, The fact also remains that although useful I'm not really essential to a gig. That is to say that WageR without a keyboard player or Drummer ain't really gonna work as well as Wager without a roadie

Guess what I'm saying in short is that I find it gratifying that you all seem to find me useful enough to go out of your way to provide lifts for me to get to and from gig's

So its agreed then - Match is my co-driver for the return journey.

120 miles is a good run and the trip back through the night will be hard work. Match is excellent company and I am sure he will not mind driving a few miles if I get tired.

Well looks like Burnham has been WageR 'ed, and WageR has been Burnham 'ed.

243 mile round trip, Got to bed at 4:30 am, totally shattered, and a really enjoyable Gig with a really good audience, that complements and praise flowed as freely as there hospitality.

So whey hey when are we going back, can't wait to do it all again.
