My sister Tracey is partacking in this years London Marathon and she is trying to raise cash for Leukaemia Research.
One of the main reasons she is trying to raise funds for Leukaemia is beacuse our
brother in law Allan was diagnosed with this disease 3 to 4 years ago. He has been very brave in his battle against this and has recently had to undergo a bone marrow transplant. He is fighting hard and early signs are looking good. We have the upmost respect for him and the rest of the family in the way they have faced this crisis with dignity and positivity. It is very humbling.
Last year WageR also took part in raising money for Leukaemia Research by doing a gig at the Herberts Club in Coventry and we helped raise over £1200.
This cause is something very close to my heart as in 1987 my dad died of Cancer after battling for 5 years with the diesese. As a lad in my early teens i watched my dad wither away into a skeleton of what used to be a very agile and fit man.
In this country alone hundreds if not thousands of people each year are diagnosed with this disease and it shows no mercy depending on what religion, colour or race anyone is.
If people can help a little it would be something greatly appreciated by everyone who has or will encounter experiences with this disease.
So without further ado here is a link to my sisters web page explaining how you can help.

The date of the Marathon is Sunday 23rd April.
Thanks in advance.
Alan.
