It's a combination of low morale this far into the season, not having the money in pre-season to buy in a fresh player or two (at least, not a decent one, anyway!) and not enough players to give your midfield and defence a rest. You're just not gonna do very well in that kinda situation, be you Sunderland, Everton, Man United... anybody.

Just look at Arsenal. Top flight club, sold one of the best midfielders in the world and never replaced him, even tho we blatantly have the cash. Where are we? What chance do we have of getting any silverware this season? What's the likelihood of Henry signing that new contract that's just waiting for him?

The answers are nowhere, none, and stuff all!

Yea true serpose not just the moral thing the money aspect comes in too... for Arsenal all the manager cares about it henry hes not realy intresed in any other players so he offers henry a 40mil contract and 110k a week lol its mad!

He may have offered him a stupidly large contract, but there's two problems there...

1: Henry doesn't seem interested in signing yet (scaring the fans into thinking he's leaving)
2: There's no strength in midfield meaning we can't get the ball up to him to make him earn his keep and score!

Back now with the Keane Roller Coaster. Amazing that they were champions after being bottom of the league in October.

At least we now know one of the relegation places is taken up for next season Wink
