Monday April 11th 2005 - It is with regret that we announce the departure of our drummer, Spence, from the band. Spence is both an excellent drummer and a special person. We will miss his humour, his intelligence, and his talent. We would like to wish Spence well and everything he does for the future.

We would also like to announce that a new drummer has been auditioned and we are currently in rehearsals in readiness for our next gig on 30th April 2005.  Full details of our new drummer will be released shortly.

Friday February 11th 2005 - As we are feeling generous we have put up the final versions of House That Jack Built and I Don't in our Media section of the site. The songs will only be there until tomorrow February  12th. But keep a look out as we will be posting some other goodies from time to time.

Friday January 28th 2005 - WageR Uncovered, The Bands latest offering will be available very very soon. More News will follow.

Friday January 14th 2005 (12.00 noon) - The First Official WageR Competition opens. Answer 10 questions about WageR to win a couple of signed WageR CD's and a mystery surprise gift from Spence. To enter the competition go to our new Competition Section and E-Mail us your entry. More news will follow.

Sunday January 9th 2005 (3pm) - WageR Keyboard player, Nic Smith was released from hospital and performed that evening at The Trent Bridge Inn, Nottingham. The lads put on an excellent show as if nothing had happened. Alan, Wayne, Mike & Spence were all set to perform just in case Nic couldn't make the show. Presently Nic is recuperating and if you would like to send Nic a message please feel free to use our Message Board.

Thursday January 6th 2005 - WageR Keyboard player, Nic Smith is rushed into Hospital with a suspected clot on his lung. Nic is ok and is in a stable condition. More News will follow.

Monday December 27th 2004 - The WageR Demo "WageR - Uncovered" is finally completed. The Demo will be available to purchase soon from the site's Online store and will be priced £4.99 in the UK and £5.99 worldwide.

Wednesday December 8th 2004 - WageR Demo 6 Beta 3 is now available to download. Beta 3 has Nic Smith playing the keyboards and a pre mix on everything. Backing vocals will be added soon to make the final recordings over the next few weeks. There will also be some more hidden tracks going up in the next day or so. The beta 2 clips have been removed and replaced with Beta 3.

Sunday December 5th 2004 - As yuletide is quickly approaching WageR would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. To mark the start of a New Year and a new CD we will be running a competition. The top Prize will be a copy of Both WageR CD's and a mystery surprise gift from Spence. The two runners up will receive a copy of the new CD with unheard bonus material. As soon as the competition is afoot a new page will magically appear with all the details and questions you will need to enter.

Thursday October 14th 2004 - WageR set the night ablaze at O'Neills Harbourne, Birmingham. Whilst WageR were performing the second half of their set one of the bands lights accidentally caught fire. Dan the magical mystical camera man dealt with the situation very swiftly and brought the fire to an immediate halt. No one was harmed and the light in question was undamaged.

Monday October 11th 2004 - We are pleased to announce that our CD is now available for purchase in our merchandise section of the site. More items will follow in our Merchandise section! These items will include more WageR CD's, Posters, T-Shirts, Caps, Lighters & Stickers.

Friday October 8th 2004 - New material written for WageR's next release. WageR are back in the recording studio putting together their latest album. The album will feature between 12 and 15 songs more news will follow as the album progresses.

Saturday Sept 25th 2004 - The WageR Message Board is now live!!! If you would like to become a member of the site Click Here to register. Registration is free and easy, So why not pop on and say hello.

Friday Sept 24th 2004 - WageR appeared at The Yenton, Birmingham for the guys second live outing. WageR experienced a couple of small technical hitches not long after the gig had started but the lads took it in their stride and sorted the problem within a matter of seconds. During the night both WageR and the Audience had a great time. WageR were happy to mention that they will be re-appearing at the Yenton soon.   

Sunday Sept 19th 2004 - WageR performed their debut gig with the new line-up at the Trent Bridge Inn, Nottingham. The band have been hard at work rehearsing their new set over the past few months. Before the gig Spence the bands drummer commented "We are looking forward to get out there and putting on a great show".

 Wednesday Sept 8th 2004 - Nic Smith Officially joins WageR as the bands new keyboard player.

August 2004 - WageR enter the studio to start work on their forthcoming album. The album will feature a couple of tracks from the debut demo album "Closing In On The World" and 2 unheard tracks written with the late Mr Edwin Starr.
